New, innovative fixed income instruments -- U.S. Covered Bonds

U.S. Covered Bonds (as currently defined by H.R. 940) represent a new chapter in American finances and more importantly for investors seeking risk-attributed, senior secured bonds. At Innovative Relevance®, we have been tracking and providing strategy and guidance around the operational issues (FMBO -- front, middle and back office) for a future U.S. Covered Bond market since 2008. We have mapped out and highlighted the challenges, processes, and opportunities for issuers -- and the vast, integrated data stores needed to make sense of emerging operational and regulatory compliance.

We have prepared several documents and numerous articles on the emerging U.S. Covered Bond markets and operations for the industry. At Innovative Relevance®, we are involved with the knowledge processes and various outside sources needed to provide the solutions and services for these long-term asset classes that are projected to reach over $1 trillion in the next 8 years (U.S. Issues -- not internationally denominated issues in U.S. dollars).
